Too good to keep to ourselves
We believe that our church should never be able to fit inside our building. This is true not just because we have a small building but because we have been given a big vision! From the start, we thought that we should not just keep all of the people, all of the resources, and all of the ideas to ourselves. If God blessed us with growth, then we thought we were supposed to share it - to keep the ‘sending’ component moving forward and outward.
Rather than continuing to draw more and more people to us, we hope to continue to follow them to their neighborhoods and schools and workplaces. In time, we envision more ACTS Churches springing up around the Lake Travis area. But this is up to God, not to us. We simply want to follow - if and when and how - he leads.
As we establish new churches, we will continue to develop a strong partnership with The Church Extension Fund of Texas. This agency provided the loan for our land and facility at a time when most banks would not have considered our application. The Church Extension Fund receives investments of individuals, and provides an attractive return, while using the capital to provide loans for the construction of more churches.
