The Big 3

ACTS Church has set three gutsy goals for 2011:

   - to SEND 100 people of all ages into meaningful, defined ministries

   - to ENCOURAGE 100 people to spend time daily in the Bible, following in

      the Way of Jesus

   - to GATHER 200 people, on average, for our weekend Worship Gatherings

God is already at work, bringing his immeasurable power to bear on our feeble (but faith-filled!) plans:

Do you have what it takes?

Not everyone is created the same way.  This means that you are uniquely designed to be absolutely great at something.  The key is to discover what that 'something' is and take action to leverage your gifts toward the area of your greatest contribution.

Use your unique gifts at ACTS and begin making an eternal difference.  Begin by asking yourself...

 

Q: Do you like meeting people?  Are you quick to make others feel comfortable?  Do you smile easily?

A Moving Story

It's no surprise.  We continue to be inspired by stories of the people who get up off the couch and go make their lives count.  Thirty-year-old pastor Steven Furtick of Elevation Church is one of those inspiring people who is predisposed toward DOING something.  He writes,"I like to think God conceals his extraordinary intentions in ordinary people to protect the extraordinary value of his purpose in our lives.
