Born again: earth and water

One week ago tragedy was transformed into joy as thirty-three Chilean miners were hoisted up and out of a chamber where they had spent the previous 69 days.  As the mother of the youngest miner watched her 19-year-old son emerge from the rescue capsule, she remarked that it was like watching him "being born again."

What a great snapshot of the Christian life.  The Hero-God doesn't care how long it takes or how much it will cost  He works persistently until he pulls us up out of the chamber where we have been separated from Light and …
