Your gifts to ACTS are at work

Since mid-January the people of ACTS have had an opportunity to recommit their lives and our hearts to God - through their commitment to the local church that they call 'home'.  As part of the process of Covenant Membership renewal, a total of 31 families or individuals (including 5 college students!) have shared with us their 2011 financial commitments in support of the Mission of ACTS.  The amount that they have prayerfully committed to our General Operating Fund totals $215,000.

These dollars will be used gratefully to finance our day-to-day needs: operations, insurance, utilities, kids' programs, materials, worship gatherings, …

ACTS is halfway where?

Anyone who survived the 1980’s will remember the metal bands with their wild hair, leather pants, and over-the-top guitar riffs.  And almost anyone could finish the line from Bon Jovi’s hit single: Oh-oh, we’re halfway there. Oh-oh, livin’ on a ______.

In cased you’re stumped (you were either living out of the country at the time or you were born after 1990) the answer is “prayer.”  And this lyric is much more than a 1980’s throwback; it is a fitting description of ACTS Church in November of 2010.
