Staff of ACTS Church Lakeway

The leadership of ACTS involves quite a number of different people, more than what would fit on this page - and most of whom don’t get a paycheck!  However, you can usually get information - or get involved - by contacting one of the following people:

Pete Mueller, church planter & pastor
.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) (512-623-9867 mobile)
Pete takes seriously the ‘adventure’ component of ACTS: he loves to backpack, rock climb, and ski the trees. Raised in Iowa, Pete still loves to eat corn-fed beef and fresh sweet corn. He serves the mission of ACTS primarily through vision-casting, communication, and leadership development. Pete is grateful for the partnership of Jacob Youmans in preaching, prayer support, and pastoral counseling.

Kristin Zeppelin, volunteer coordinator & business manager

(512-963-2848)
Kristin is all about the people of ACTS...especially our guests.  As Volunteer Coordinator & Business Administrator, she keeps the wheels on the bus while helping people find their fit within the mission and the Community of ACTS.   Kristin lives out the Adventure every day as mom to two boys & a golden doodle...in partnership with her husband Deron.  She feels blessed to be a part of the amazing mission of ACTS!!

Steve Zank, missionary of the arts
.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
(805-444-3768)
Steve loves music, and he loves the mission of the local church.  His life is dedicated to the place where these two passions intersect.  While studying at Concordia University Irvine in his home state of California, Steve was introduced to the idea that music and pastoral ministry could be practiced together.  Now a graduate of Concordia Seminary in Saint Louis, Steve serves ACTS Church as pastor, musical director, and worship leader.  He networks with others in the Austin arts community to extend the Gospel beyond its current reach. Steve is a founding member of the Worship Arts Leadership Institute (WALi), and a published songwriter.  Steve gets energized by taking on new challenges, playing sports, and experiencing new places and cultures with friends.

Krissy Martin, KidsQuest leader
.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) (239-989-9531)
Krissy Martin gets to stay a kid at heart while leading KidsQuest. She came to ACTS all the way from Ft. Myers, Florida, and has quickly fallen in love with the Austin area. With her love of theatre, Krissy will help set the stage for kids to ACT out their growing faith in our awesome God!

Jordan Norton, youth leader
.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) (816-678-2394)
From Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Jordan grew up a stone’s throw from the Kansas City Royals’ and Chiefs’ stadiums. He is, however, strangely loyal to Texas sports and loves to watch the Longhorns play ball. Together with his friend Joel, Jordan works to bring middle-school and high-school students into the experience of ACTS: Adventure, Community, Transformation, and Sending.

Joel Schildwachter, youth leader
.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) (443-686-0122)
Joel helps teens discover that ACTS exists to ‘Send changed people into a changing world.’ He builds relationships with teens, in order to help them understand the part they can play today in this mission. Joel believes that the Duke Blue Devils are the greatest team on earth. He comes to us all the way from Towson, Maryland and loves to eat. But then, he’s a growing boy.

Andrea Bolognini, missionary to students
.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

After spending her early years in Colorado, Andrea moved with her family to Arizona and began to appreciate the two seasons of the low desert: 'hot' and 'hotter'! Andrea was exposed to international ministry at a young age through a partnership with a school in Japan. After graduating from Concordia University Texas, she moved to Hong Kong where she served as a Missionary with LCMS World Mission for two years. There she built relationships, shared the love of Christ, and worked in schools and churches. Andrea likes sports, music, two-stepping, and spending time with friends.
