Staff of ACTS Church Lakeway

The leadership of ACTS involves quite a number of different people, more than what would fit on this page - and most of whom don’t get a paycheck!  However, you can usually get information - or get involved - by contacting one of the following people:

Pete Mueller, church planter & pastor
.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) (512-623-9867 mobile)
Pete takes seriously the ‘adventure’ component of ACTS: he loves to backpack, rock climb, and ski the trees. An Iowa boy at heart, Pete still loves to eat corn-fed beef and fresh sweet corn. He serves the mission of ACTS primarily through vision-casting, communication, and leadership development. Pete is grateful for the partnership of .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) in preaching, prayer support, and pastoral counseling.

Gabe Hayes, missionary of the arts
.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) (512-547-0161)
You can usually find Gabe with a guitar and a smile, whether leading worship for ACTS or playing with his band at a local restaurant. Gabe loves music and loves people, and he is passionate to find ways to connect people to the story of God, using the arts whenever possible. Gabe is joined in leading worship at ACTS by his buddy Daniel Bodeman, who is known for his quirky sense of humor, huge heart, and mad guitar skills.

Jennifer Miller, KidsQuest leader
.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) (573-270-6622)
Jenny writes the curriculum for our weekly KidsQuest and provides coordination for all the gifted, loving volunteers who work with children at ACTS. She comes from the southeast corner of Missouri (use a magnifying glass to find ‘Jackson’ on your nearest Missouri map). Jenny loves to jump in puddles and cut animal shapes out of construction paper.

Jordan Norton, youth leader
.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) (816-678-2394)
From Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Jordan grew up a stone’s throw from the Kansas City Royals’ and Chiefs’ stadiums. He is, however, strangely loyal to Texas sports and loves to watch the Longhorns play ball. Together with his friend Joel, Jordan works to bring middle-school and high-school students into the experience of ACTS: Adventure, Community, Transformation, and Sending.

Joel Schildwachter, youth leader
.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) (443-686-0122)
Joel helps teens discover that ACTS exists to ‘Send changed people into a changing world.’ He builds relationships with teens, in order to help them understand the part they can play today in this mission. Joel believes that the Duke Blue Devils are the greatest team on earth. He comes to us all the way from Towson, Maryland and loves to eat. But then, he’s a growing boy.
